The City of Sutri

It stands on an impressive tuff ridge overlooking the Via Cassia and is located between Viterbo and Rome, along the Via Francigena.
Its origins are very ancient, and there are clear traces of its historical past:
an amphitheater, a necropolis, a mithraeum incorporated into a church (Madonna del Parto), a cathedral, and much more.

Sutri has received the Orange Flag award from the Italian Touring Club and the Lazio Region in recognition of its high-quality tourism and environmental standards.
The association “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” has named Sutri one of the most beautiful villages in the country (there are about 270 in total).

Le Terrecotte hospitality in Sutri is not just a place to sleep, but a refuge of simplicity, tradition, and charm that will take you back in time and help you discover the beauty and allure of the Tuscia region.
It is located right in front of the Archaeological Park of the Ancient City of Sutri, just a short walk from the historic center.
Housed in an 1800s building, it stands out for its great attention to style, furnishings, and detail.
The name "Le Terrecotte" comes from the original activity once carried out inside: it was, in fact, a terracotta factory.

Adjacent to the property, there is a large free parking area and Co.Tra.L. bus stops with connections to both Rome and Viterbo.
